In 1966, Joseph and Elizabeth Berta married and purchased some farmland to build a house and grow their own produce.
The bounty quickly exceeded the needs of the family, so they stated selling surplus fruits and vegetables on a table at the side of the road.
Realizing that the family farm needed a home, Joe decided to name the farm after his wife – Elberta Farms. Through the years, they expanded into what the farm is today, with the help of their six children. Their two sons, Andrew and Mike are proud to carry on the family tradition. Come for the fresh fruit and veggies and stay for the full farm experience and help to feed the animals.
